Elections remind us of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship in a democracy. The college encourages the students to actively take part in elections.
The elections provides students a platform to express themselves. From issues with food in college canteen, to permissions for inter-collegiate fests, to finding sponsorships for events, the student union acts as a channel of communication between the college administration and the students, ensuring proper communication between them.
The Student Union, a six member elected representative body, coordinates all student activities. It organizes, conducts and oversees student events and competitions at the intra-college and inter-college level to ensure that every student's college life is more than just academics. Apart from organizing fests, the student union gives the students a stage to associate with social causes and encourages them to take part in extra-curricular activities to ensure their holistic development .
