The Academic session for the year 2021-2022 commenced on the 26th of October with an Orientation Programme with the sole purpose of bringing the various faculties together to motivate and enthuse them to prepare for the year ahead. The orientation began with an opening prayer by Rev Jayanesan followed by the Bible Reading by Ms. Shalini, Head of the Department of English. The staff sang the College Hymn in unison. Our Respected Principal Dr. Sujatha Christopher welcomed and introduced the Guest Speaker.
The staff orientation was followed by a workshop on the National Policy of Education. The Resource person was Dr. S. Muralidhar Professor and Head Department of Commerce & Management, Govt. First Grade College, Kolar. He is also a member of the Sub Committee – Governance & Regulation Task Force for implementation of NEP in Karnataka .He elaborated on the salient features of the National Policy of Education and made the staff aware of various aspects regarding subject specific disciplines , open electives, internal assessment etc
