Seminars, Guest Lectures and Workshops
The IQAC in association will the departments conducted various Seminars and Workshops to qualify the students with practical knowledge of their respective subjects. In the academic year 2016 – 2017 the following programmes were conducted.

The Department of English edifies language skills and critical thinking. To bring into highlight the traditions of literature and the relationship between human expression and developments of human culture, the Department of English organised a Guest lecture on Developing Communication Skills. The resource person was Mrs. Kumari Veena, Hod of Environmental Science, St Annes Degree College, Ulsoor.
- The IQAC Committee considering the enhancement of the quality in teaching fraternity, organised an International Seminar on the topic Ingenious Teaching Techniques in Higher Education on the resource speakers were Dr. Ken Henson,
- The Department of Management and Economics together conducted a seminar on the topic GST on February 17 th 2017. The resource person was Mr. Pankaj Kumar, a Chartered Accountant and the students were updated with the latest upgradation in the related field.
- The Department of Journalism in collaboration with the Deccan Herald organised a Workshop on the topic Note Making and Note taking Skills on 27 th February 2017 .
- The Department of Psychology organised a seminar on Emotional Intelligence on 17 th September 2016. Mrs. Nalini Arles, retired professor, United Theological College was the resource person.
- A seminar on Role of BFSI Sector was conducted by the Department of Commerce, The resource person was Mr.Santhosh Proedge from Skill and Edutech Ltd. The seminar provided information on various sectors where about 200 students participated.
