Department of English

To boost confidence in students, the Department of English organized a guest lecture on Confidence Building on 4 th August 2023.The resource person was none other than our very own alumna Ms. Khyroon Fouzia who is a certified speaker, trainer & coach. She is also the founder director of KFM Academy and Victory Hill Institute. Through a power point presentation, she demonstrated the art of confidence building and gave insightful takeaways on building confidence.

  • Department of Business Administration

    The Department of Business Administration, conducted a workshop for its first-year students on the topic Citizenship Skills on Dec 3rd, 10th 2022 and Jan 21st 2023 by the resource person Ms. Aparna. This certification workshop was in alliance with CMCA which is a non-profit organization that is pioneering in citizenship education in India. The topics for the workshop were: Your Voice and Active Citizenship, Leading Successful Change Initiatives, Youth and Social Change, Reflections- Your Move Forward. The students gave positive feedback about the workshop and had learnt a lot from the sessions.
  • Department of Computer Applications

    A seminar was organized by the Department for I, II- and III-year students of BCA on 16th June 2023 by the students and staff fraternity. The topic was The Dark Side of Artificial Intelligence understanding and protecting against AI Scams. The students were provided with an opportunity to exhibit the prevalence and complexity of AI scams. Knowledge about exploring the various types of AI scams in real world scenarios was briefed and in-depth information was inculcated to the students regarding this topic.
  • Department of Kannada

    A Guest lecture for the Kannada Students was organized by the Department of Kannada on 16 th April 2023. The topic for the Guest lecture wasKannada Language and its Importance in Communication World. Dr. S. Manonmani was the speaker who stressed upon the importance of Kannada Language. Nearly 117 students participated in the lecture.
  • Workshops by NSS

    On the 29 th of July 2022 a workshop on Personal Hygiene for Adolescents and Health Issues was organized. Mrs. Kamala from BMTS was the resource person. A workshop on Menstrual Hygiene was organized on 12 th August 2022.The resource person was Rotarian Suman Shankar. To make students aware of their rights, a workshop on Human Rightswas organized. The resource person was Mr. F Saddam Baig, High Court Advocate. A workshop onCommunication Skillswas organized for the benefit of our students. Mrs. Kamala, Soft Skills trainer was the resource person.
